Self-defense for women
Practise making your own choices.
A women's self-defense course should offer more than copying techniques. It is about recognising space, making a boundary clear and exploring physical options when words or distance are not enough. Participants' questions guide the training, rather than fear.

A distinct focus
Your questions shape the training.
Women arrive with different experiences and reasons for training. One may want to communicate a boundary sooner; another may want to explore what she can do when someone comes too close. We start with concrete situations and choices, rather than a fixed idea of how you should react.
The exercises are not intended to predict or remove risks. They offer a place to explore options, test actions and discuss what could change in a different context.
What you practise
Boundaries, distance and physical options.
We practise how to position yourself, make space and keep a verbal boundary clear. When that is not enough, we explore simple physical responses and ways to move again or get away. Technique supports your choices; it is not an end in itself.
That is what distinguishes this training for women from a general overview of self-defense. The underlying principles are related, but the questions and practice situations come from the group itself. For the broader approach, start with the main self-defense page.

You have nothing to prove.
A first experience of self-defense can feel unfamiliar. We make partner exercises clear: what is the task, where are the boundaries and what do you want to explore? There is room to ask questions and adapt the exercise to your starting point.
Skill First focuses on learning through attention and repetition, rather than toughness or a test you have to pass. The coach page introduces the person behind this approach.

The format follows the group and its goal.
A workshop can explore a focused theme. A women's self-defense course gives more time to revisit skills and see connections between situations. We discuss available options, group formats and times when you enquire.
A fixed timetable, duration or group size is not advertised here; practical details need to fit the current planning. Please explain whether you are asking for yourself or for an existing group.
