Balance before and after a technique
A kick or knee changes your point of support. Work on posture and recovery so you can make another choice immediately after the action.
Read distance, find control up close and keep responding through contact. Muay Thai connects a broad striking repertoire with balance and rhythm. Your coaching focuses on those connections.
Explore the Muay Thai approach
A distinct technical character
Muay Thai includes punches, kicks, knees and elbows. The clinch is an important part of its technical system: using contact, influencing posture and staying aware of your own balance.
We treat those techniques as connected decisions. Each one changes the distance and your next choice. Learn to recognise when to move, when contact is useful and when you need space.
Muay Thai and kickboxing
Muay Thai and kickboxing share many basic techniques. Their emphasis differs: more extensive clinch work, balance in contact and the role of knees and elbows give Muay Thai its own ways of moving and responding.
Rules and practice agreements determine what you actually train. Studying elbows or knees does not automatically mean hard partner contact. We choose a format that fits your level and the skill you want to explore.
Practise the connections
A kick or knee changes your point of support. Work on posture and recovery so you can make another choice immediately after the action.
Explore head position, arm position and pressure. Learn to feel how a small change affects the other person's posture while preserving your own structure.
Timing also includes slowing down, waiting and changing pace. Connect pad work and focused partner tasks to the response that makes a technique useful.
Personal technical focus
Your training question might concern a basic technique or a transition between ranges. We choose a clear focus and examine how it affects the whole exchange.
Build from stance, movement and simple techniques. Explore the role of clinch and balance through agreed exercises, without needing the full repertoire at once.
Explore your balance after a kick, your clinch position or the moment for a knee, for example. Small technical decisions become visible when the exercise includes the right response.
