Your feet create the space
Work on stance, balance and footwork. Can you close distance without falling forward? Can you move again after an attack? Your starting position determines which options stay open.
A good punch starts before your arm moves: with your position, your feet and the moment you choose. Work with a personal boxing coach on the connections between moving, landing a punch and avoiding the reply.
Explore the boxing approach
Technique you can use
Knowing a combination is different from knowing when it fits. In one-to-one boxing coaching, we explore what you notice, how you stand and what happens after your first action. Punches and defense gain a clear role.
Training focuses on boxing technique and decisions, rather than completing as many conditioning rounds as possible. A focused exercise can be simple: one distance, one response or one exit you cannot yet find consistently.
Connected foundations
Work on stance, balance and footwork. Can you close distance without falling forward? Can you move again after an attack? Your starting position determines which options stay open.
Read distance and responses rather than finishing a combination automatically. Explore how a first punch, feint or small position change prepares the next moment.
Blocking, evading and stepping out connect to your punches. Practise responding to a counter and using that defense to rebuild a useful position.
Focused feedback
We use technical exercises, pad work and agreed partner tasks to make a question visible. Feedback goes beyond how a movement looks: we examine what the adjustment does to distance, balance or timing.
The same question then returns with a different response or a little more freedom. Learn to recognise when the solution works. Resistance and contact are adapted to your experience and the exercise's purpose.
Your boxing question
Private coaching makes room for details that can pass unnoticed in a group lesson: a recurring error, difficult distance or unclear cue. We choose a focused question and work on it progressively.
Build from stance, simple punches and movement. Defense is included from the beginning, so technique becomes part of an exchange rather than a disconnected list of movements.
Bring a concrete moment where you get stuck: forward pressure, responding to a jab or moving after a combination, for example. We explore the pattern and test a more useful choice.
