Team building in Zwolle, through shared practice.

An active experience of working together. In a martial arts workshop, your team learns something new, coordinates with a partner and notices what attention and clear communication change.

Why martial arts

A team outing with something to work out together.

An unfamiliar physical task makes cooperation concrete. Who sets the pace? When do you give feedback? How do you adapt when the exercise changes? The value lies in trying together, observing and choosing again, rather than winning or training hard.

Method

A new starting point

Everyone starts with an exercise that is not yet familiar. Curiosity matters more than experience.

Coordination in action

Partner exercises need clear agreements about pace, distance and feedback.

A shared moment

The team does something together that it can return to afterwards, without needing to create a competition.

Formats for teams

A company outing that fits the group.

An active team outing in Zwolle does not need to feel the same for everyone. We choose exercises based on the group, experience and the purpose of the day. Intensity and contact are made clear beforehand.

Workshops

Boxing with pads

Practise stance, rhythm and timing in pairs. Your partner helps, observes and gives useful feedback.

Discover martial arts

A first exploration of movement, position and cooperation through striking and grappling.

Boundaries and distance

Practical tasks on attention, space and communication, drawing on self-defense.

A theme for your team

Start with a concrete question from the group and discuss which exercises fit.

How it unfolds

A clear framework. Then time to practise.

A session begins with an explanation of the task and how to practise. Participants then alternate between doing and observing. We build from simple movements towards a shared challenge, with no martial arts experience required.

After an exercise, there is room to describe what you noticed: which cue helped, and where did the coordination change? This keeps the outing active and gives the experience meaning. The precise structure depends on the group.

The practice behind the session

Boxing, grappling and self-defense each offer a different way to move together. We choose what fits your team's question. A team workshop has its own purpose and structure.
